* No Hormone Replacement. She's different! My wife had her ovaries removed at 37 for cancer concerns. She has quit taking any hormone replacement medication after 3 months. Does anyone have experience with this. She does not seem like the same woman at all. Does anyone have experience living without hrt completely. With all the hrt options available, this seems to be the worst scenario possible. Is it just me? Or can her personality be completely different than what she was before.
From Hyster Sisters:
It's obvious you're very concerned about your wife. Her personality can seem different with all the hormonal changes she must be experiencing.
I would suggest going with her to her doctor's appointment so that you can better understand the changes she is going through and how best you can help her.
Our RESOURCE links has a section just for women who can't take hormone therapy. You'll find that for most women there are alternatives to HRT that can be explored to help gain back a healthy and productive life.
